feed your faith

Apostle NKURUNZIZA François

1Peter 1:3-12; “…Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls…which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things which angels desire to look into.”

Angels are always impressed by believers, having not seen God but they honor, love and believe in God that they have never seen. There is a third of angels who were cast out of Heaven because of rebelling against God, despite the fact that those angels had seen God face to face, but they failed to honor God.

John 1:18; “ No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.”

Angels knowing that people can’t see God, yet they fearfully and faithfully honor God, they admire when believers set their hearts to worship He who they never saw. However, no one should boast of being greater than Angels, because it is God Himself that works in us to doing God’s will and having faith in Him.

Phil 2:13; “for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”

Glory to God, who pulled us by His grace to having salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. It is a great mystery that we should always stick to.

Ephesians 2:8-9; “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast“

God knows the faith of every believer and He would never let us being tempted beyond what we can bear. But trials have their role, as they test our faith to the glory of the Lord our God.

We owe more praises and thanksgivings to the Lord, who gave us faith in Jesus Christ to our Salvation. If we have faith today, if we can confess Jesus till today, if we are standing in faith, it is an immeasurable Grace of God that spares us from eternal death awaiting those who do not believe.

1Peter 1:6-7; “In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ”

There are common trials of all human beings, such as a certain tragedy that falls over a nation, a bankruptcy that compels many to lose their job, etc. but there are specific trials that only come to test the faith of believers. These trials of faith will only come when you believe in Jesus Christ. Therefore, in this battle of faith we are going through as believers, we ought to discern whether, they are common trials or they have only come because we believe in Christ; this will help us to adequately fight.

When a trial is common, we pray for wisdom to handle the rising issue but when it has come because of your faith in Jesus Christ, you would fight the spiritual battle knowing that the unfailing God fights on your side.
