feed your faith

Apostle NKURUNZIZA François

Exodus 2:10 “And the child grew, and she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter, and he became her son. So she called his name Moses saying, “Because I drew him out of the water.”

In the times of Moses’ birth the people of Israel were slaves in the country of Egypt and there was a decree from the pharaoh that every new born baby boy should be killed. Why such fury against one particular nation? The devil knew the destiny of Israel for in this nation, will be born the Messiah; Jesus Christ through whom all the nations of the Earth will be saved.

This is why God purposed to save Moses when he was still a new born child for he would become the leader of Israel. If Moses had not been saved at that time, there would be no Israel; there would have been no Messiah and therefore no salvation of the nations.

Exodus 2:2-4 “So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him three months. But when she could no longer hide him, she took an ark of bulrushes for him, daubed it with asphalt and pitch, put the child in it, and laid it in the reeds by the river’s bank. And his sister stood afar off, to know what would be done to him.”

God used two slave women with no dignity and an ark of bulrushes to save His servant Moses to show how His ways are different from ours. He has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, the weak things of the world to put to shame the mighty and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are (1Corinthians 27-28)

We are not to judge God in accordance to what we see, because power does not reside in the visible but in the invisible. if things are not going as you have planned, it doesn’t mean that He is not working. Do not believe the lies of the devil; do not lose your faith to your present situation, what seems like a dead end now will bring forth God’s glory.
